My name is Aaron, but everyone calls me Wyte. I grew up in Corpus Christi and have lived here most of my life. Ever since I can remember, I always wanted to be a tattoo artist. At the age of 13, in school when they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always said tattoo artist! I started tattooing a little over 20 years ago, and began my apprenticeship in 2005 at Body Rights on 38th. My influencers are Paul Booth, OG Abel Steve Soto, Roman Abrego, Bob Tyrell, Mr. Cartoon, Jose Lopez, Spidey Solis, and of course the local legend Bigman the owner of Phat Tats. I've been with Phat Tats since October 20th, 2025, and plan to spend the rest of my career as a part of the Phat Tats tattoo family. My specialties include black & gray portraits, Chicano black & gray style, artistic lettering, fine line work and enjoy doing color, although the bulk of my clientele engage me for my use of grey wash and various levels of gray scale shading.
